PlexR procedure is performed without cutting, without removing excess skin or fat and without modifying the orbicular muscle of the eyelids. This helps avoid all risks inherent to traditional surgical intervention. PlexR forms true pure plasma to sublimate the unwanted excess skin. When anything solid turns into a gas without first becoming liquid, that is sublimation.
How long does PlexR take to heal?
You should expect a swelling around the treated area, this is normal and usually subsides within 1 – 4 days after the procedure. The treated area will have a light brown crust present. The crust will fall off after 5-10 days (for most patients), leaving pink skin
How long do PlexR results last?
The results should last as long as they would with invasive surgery. The results can last you years depending on the area treated. Many people only return for a top-up three or four years down the line as they age. The positive effects of treatment will be noticeable immediately after the first treatment, but the best results will be seen after weeks.
